MILWAUKEE, WI – The organizers of this year’s Milwaukee Lakefront Marathon are still accepting exhibitors for their two-day Health & Fitness Expo on Friday, September 30 and Saturday, October 1, prior to the Marathon on Sunday, October 2.
The Expo, which is open to the public and the marathon’s 3,000 registered runners, 1600 Badgerland Strider members and the 1000 race volunteers will be held at the MSOE Kern Center, 1245 N. Broadway in downtown Milwaukee. Expo hours are 4-7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 30, and 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 1. In addition to the exhibits, there will also be technical sessions for running enthusiasts on Friday night at 5 and 6 p.m. and on Saturday at 10 and 11 a.m. as well as 1, 2 and 3 p.m. All times are subject to change.
According to Kristine Hinrichs, race director for the Milwaukee Lakefront Marathon, “Our marathon annually draws 3,000 runners and their guests that according to our research, spend $1.2 million - $2.4 million with the US Department of Commerce multiplier.
This Expo offers vendors a great way to reach these runners in addition to many health enthusiasts from the area since it is free and open to the public.”
The Expo is also where all registered marathon runners are required to pick up their actual race information.
Space for a 10 x 10 booth is just $350. There are also finish line and goodie bag opportunities. Product donations are free and technical seminar speaker opportunities are also available.
